Spring Fever

...or maybe it's just a cold.
But I liked the sound of that.
I have been doing some random spring cleaning, and I am just totally ready for this season.
I am excitedly looking forward to the way my life could be in constant flux if I keep my winter job at the Snow Bowl and my summer job with the schooner...
I'll always have some time off between jobs and then I get to do be actively involved in the outdoor recreation of each season.
Hells yeah!
Now...if I could only find a way to Get Rich at this pace...

Sweetest and I went kayaking today, at Shirttail.
He had so much fun smashing through some remaining ice patches!!


We danced with a pair of loons...
when they dove under to seek fish, when we would glide quietly closer to where they had last been seen, trying for closer glimpses.
We got pretty close, but my phone's camera isn't that great on zoom, so this is all I got:

We had a wonderful time, all bundled up with the sun shining!
I had some poetic, nice words come to mind while I was out there, but of course I've forgotten them now.
Oh well.
I was dying to pull out my blackberry and jot them down while I was out there, but it seemed irreverant, or disrespectful somehow.

Here's hoping my sniffly, stuffy headed self will be replaced with a less cold or allergy infested version of me pretty soon!
